Summer is the perfect season for sunbathing at Jean-Doré Beach! Treat yourself to the freshness of a beautiful golden sand beach with quality water at all times at Parc Jean-Drapeau! While you're there, take the opportunity to rent a watercraft (canoe, kayak, pedal boat or paddle board) at the Water Activities Pavilion or to access Lac de la Plage with your own boat (SUP or kayak)! Come and challenge family and friends on one of our volleyball courts or in a friendly race on the Aquazilla: a unique inflatable structure of 30 meters by 35 meters composed of obstacles, slides and platforms to jump in water and more!
Parc Jean-Drapeau also offers a host of outdoor activities including ping-pong tables, swings, kilometers of bike paths including the Gilles-Villeneuve circuit, some fifteen public works of art, as well as as many gardens and walking paths with exceptional views of downtown Montreal. In addition to hosting the Casino de Montréal, La Ronde and the Biosphere, the Park is also host to major cultural and sporting events including the OSHEAGA festival and the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada.
